These slim notebooks from Rhodia come in a fine dot grid. They offer a lightweight and intimate notebook option, perfect for carrying in a bag or during travel. The covers are supple and yet the hardy covers wear well. The spine is hand sewn, so that pages stay firmly in place. A dot grid offers some structure but also the freedom to write or draw outside the lines, more similar to a blank notebook. This notebook is available in a variety of colors.

The first Rhodia notebook was printed in Lyon, France in 1934. The logo of twin spruces that is still commonly seen, stand for the two brothers who began the company. The trees aren’t identical but together. One was an engineer, the other had studied marketing. Later that same year, the brothers bought an old munitions factory and moved production from Lyon, where they had grown up, to Grenoble where they continued to make paper. Rhodia notebooks are still made in France.
